Hi everyone. My situation feels straightforward but I want to make sure before I start the process. My mother is Jewish — she was born in Israel, came to the UK in her twenties and has dual Israeli-British citizenship. My father is not Jewish and was not raised with any Jewish background. I was raised in a Jewish household, had my batmitzvah at our local United Synagogue shul and have been an active community member my whole life.
Am I eligible to make aliyah? And will I be registered as Jewish in the population registry?
