Bonjour everyone. I am French, 31, and my situation involves two layers of complexity. My maternal grandmother was Jewish — born in Morocco, came to France in the 1960s. My mother was raised with some Jewish identity but never formally affiliated with a community and was not bat mitzvahed. I was not raised Jewish at all.
