AliyahForum.com is a free English-language community forum covering every aspect of the aliyah journey — from eligibility and Law of Return through to daily life in Israel. It is built and run by the Easy Aliyah team and moderated by olim who have been through the process themselves.

The forum covers twelve sections and over fifty individual forums — eligibility, documents, apostilles, the application process, landing in Israel, banking, finance, housing, healthcare, employment, pensions, vehicles, education, Hebrew, daily life, and dedicated sections for UK, US, South African, Australian and other olim.

Every forum has a pinned READ FIRST post written by the Easy Aliyah team covering the key information for that topic in detail. These posts are updated regularly — if you spot something out of date, flag it in the thread and we will review it.

AliyahForum.com is not a replacement for professional legal, tax or financial advice. The information here is provided in good faith by people who have been through the process — but your individual situation may differ and professional advice from a qualified lawyer, accountant or financial adviser is always recommended for complex matters.

The forum is also not an advertising platform. Professional service providers are welcome to participate in the Aliyah Support & Recommendations section under the moderation policy outlined there — but promotional posting elsewhere in the forum is not permitted.

Read the pinned posts first. Every major forum has a comprehensive READ FIRST post covering the key information for that topic. These answer the most common questions in detail — read them before posting.

Use the search function. Before starting a new thread, search for your question — it may already have been answered in an existing thread.

Be specific when posting. The more specific your question — your country of origin, your eligibility basis, your specific document situation — the more useful the responses you will receive.

Contribute your experience. The forum grows stronger with every member who shares their knowledge. If you have been through a stage of the aliyah process, your experience is valuable to those still approaching it.

Forum announcements — new features, policy updates, significant content additions — will be posted in this forum. To receive notifications of new announcements, follow this forum using the Watch Forum option at the top of the page.

Significant updates to individual pinned posts are noted within those posts with the last reviewed date. Check the date on any pinned post before relying on time-sensitive information such as benefit amounts, fee rates or processing timelines.

Thank you for being part of this community. Every question asked and every experience shared makes the forum more valuable for the next person who finds it at 2am wondering whether they can really do this.

They can. So can you.
