Real Answer:
Hey there! Just went through this myself not long ago. Here's what I had to prepare (and double-check like 3 times ):
Passport: Needs to be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended Aliyah date.
Birth certificate: Original or certified copy.
Proof of Jewish status: This was the big one. I had to get a letter from my rabbi (Orthodox in my case) with all the relevant info—my Hebrew name, parents' Hebrew names, synagogue affiliation, etc. If you’re a convert, you’ll need full details of the beit din and your conversion process.
Marriage/divorce certificates: If you’re married, divorced, or widowed, these are required—translated and apostilled if not in English or Hebrew.
Kids’ documents: If you're coming with kids, you need birth certificates, school records, vaccination records, etc.
Police background check: Depending on your age and circumstances, sometimes required.
I worked with Nefesh B’Nefesh, and they had a super helpful document checklist that kept me sane!
